Today is the International Day of Happiness. The movement began in 2011 when all 193 United Nations member states passed a resolution to broaden their assessment of progress and growth beyond economics to encompass overall happiness and well-being through a range of areas, including health, nutrition, education, economics, and environment.
First celebrated in 2013, today is a great day to consider how our families can play a part in achieving the United Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals.
