I know for many of us, 2016 felt like one big dumpster fire that wouldn’t end. I felt downtrodden, unmotivated and consistently ready to sloth my way into bed and stay there.
While in the process of laying out writing projects for the year, something kept holding me back. A voice in my head kept whispering that there was a different avenue I should be pursuing. Slowly, Inspiration of One began taking shape.
What I want, more than anything, is to seek reasons to choose happiness each morning, and to spread some good juju out there during a time when we all need it.
The goals for Inspiration of One are simple:
- To share stories of impact, whether philanthropic, personal, random acts of kindness, or joy in unexpected places.
- To motivate others to both create and seek these moments. Read to be inspired, to laugh, or to seek ideas about how to improve someone else’s day, and your own in the process.
Positivity is contagious. That’s the fire I’d like to see spark.
